New Horizons has officially completed its planned hibernation in communication with the Earth. It has sent back a beautiful spherical mosaic of the dwarf planet; one’s photos to which we have being accustomed in the past few months.
New Horizons is now far away from Pluto, and has already acquired a new mission target, which is a Kuiper Belt Object that is a bit further out from Pluto. The landmark mission is set to continue for decades to come.
