My Feelings on Science

An explanation for why things are,
The way they are and not any different.
Science is like a humongous jar,
That holds the Universe without being complacent.

All the laws of nature and everything,
Are like jewels of Science’s ring.
Without Science we might just as well,
Lose our will to survive; our lives we shall sell.

Yet Science has given us a grand chance,
An exhilarating chance in continuing our modest race.
We are free to roam in space and dance,
From planet to planet; searching a place, for our next base.

So the next time you go to sleep on an ordinary night,
As you lie thinking awake thinking about why we’re here and why must we die,
A sudden awesome thought shall be within your sight,
And thee shall say, “Thank you Science”, and fall asleep with a sigh.
